Love Actually Recreation of Scene

Love Actually Scene Recreation: When David and Natalie meet. Love Actually Scene Recreation Evaluation: The decisions that I made in relation to the micro elements are limited. As for Mise-en-scene I used people of the Sixth form, so they were already dressing smartly. So, there was little amount of choices that I had to make while recreating this sequence. I have chosen however to take out some of the dialogue between David and the household staff as the people in my film felt uncomfortable speaking a large amount that is also why mine is slightly shorter as I cut pieces out to allow my cast to feel more comfortable. Sound however is a massive problem as the location on filming was quiet in person, but the camera has picked up a lot of the sounds through out the corridor. Key Scene from a British Film How does your film opening conform to the conventions of professional film openings?   My film opening conforms to the conventions of professional film openings through the use of still shots and a montage effect. This is conveyed in the opening of “The Kings Speech”. This helps the audience gather the information from each part of the montage and helps them, to understand where the film is set and begin to see what the narrative may be. My film does however develop on the opening from “The kings speech” which that the target audience is different as my target audience is younger as my film has a horror twist but still conforms to the convention of a big budget British film like “The Kings Speech”. Whereas “The Kings Speech” target audience is much more compact I believe that from the opening scene “The King’s Speech” is much more of an older spectator film as it has a much more historical narrative and is retelling a story from the 1920’s. Kuleshov Effect This is the Kuleshov Effect which shows a different varity of scene to show the person at the start in a different way each time. This shows how the film industry can manipulate a viewers perception of a character in the Film.
